Diesel's 30th Anniversary Viral

This is still one of my favourite virals, it makes me laugh every time I see it! When asked to talk at She Says, my presentation included digital work which I liked and found inspiring and this was one of them:

The viral uses a large amount of well researched and dug out, old 80's porn, which uses animation to cover up the rude parts. The actors movements and thrusts have been completely altered by cartoon interpretations... including one of a woman playing a harmonica on a mans crutch!! Others included maracas being shook and bongo drums being banged!

After watching it you tube I wanted to find out why and for who it was produced for. The company who came up with the idea and produced the viral was, The Viral Factory. The company said "Our brief was to remind consumers that Diesel is a brand not to be taken for granted, and that they should continue to expect the unexpected.". The viral was intended to promote a series of parties being held to celebrate Diesels 30th Anniversary. I think it was an incredibly simple yet genius idea, that is extremely funny and entertaining to watch! If you haven't seen it... take a look!!
